Leadership Team

Geovas' leadership team consists of highly skilled IIT/IIM/TIFR alumni each with over two decades of technology, business and entrepreneurial experience.

Geovas was conceptualized and created in 2008-09, was cash flow positive by 2010 and was majority-acquired by a strategic investor in 2011. Due to the slow down in government decision making in the energy and utilities segment from 2012-14 the acquiring investor exited this space in 2014. The founding team is now working on reviving Geovas in 2015-16 based on its strong product portfolio/deployment history, earlier successes and changed government policies/market conditions.

Mohit Sinha

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mohit has deep research, engineering and business experience across electronics, communication, wireless & enterprise products with leading technology firms Broadcom, Sasken, Emuzed, eInfochips & TCS and the National Center for Radio Astrophysics. He has a B.Tech in Electrical Eng. (IIT-K) and a PG in Physics (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research).

Bhartendu Sinha

Co-Founder & Non-Executive Chairman

Bhartendu has conceptualized and taken to market several products in engineering & business leadership roles at Motorola, Texas Instruments, Hughes, Intel and startups. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Eng. (IIT-K), an M.Tech in Computer Science and Eng. (IIT-K), an MS in Software and Telecom Eng. (Illinois Institute of Technology) and a PGDM (IIM-A).
